Eclat Digital est une scale up Nantaise qui développe et commercialise un logiciel de simulation optique nommé OceanTM. Ce logiciel est la référence en matière de Prototypage Virtuel. Devenue filiale du groupe international AGC Glass Europe en 2017, Eclat Digital connait une forte croissance de son activité. Du fait de ce développement, nous recrutons un.e ingénieur.e de recherche pour compléter notre équipe R&D.

Vous rejoignez une équipe jeune et dynamique, et venez prendre en charge différents projets au côtés de nos ingénieurs R&D.
Votre mission comprend, entre autres, les activités suivantes :
- Vous participez aux activités de R&D définies dans la stratégie d’Eclat Digital
- Vous menez et encadrez des projets de recherche pour Eclat Digital
- Vous participez à l’organisation du travail de l’équipe R&D
- Vous délivrez des résultats dont vous assurez la qualité et la restitution
- Vous êtes en contact avec les équipes techniques (produit, développement & services) tout au long des projets et vous êtes responsable de la coordination entre les intervenants
- Vous participez activement aux formations données par Eclat Digital
- Vous participez aux activités de communication de la société au niveau technique
Expérience souhaitée
- Ingénieur.e, master.e ou docteur.e en sciences
- Vous avez une expérience confirmée en recherche académique ou industrielle en simulation optique, photométrie ou image de synthèse à visée technique (Physically Based Rendering)
- Vous avez des rudiments de codage en langage scientifique (MATLAB, Python ou C++)
- Vous avez la volonté d’apprendre et de vous former aux aspects techniques du logiciel Ocean et autres techniques et/ou logiciels similaire pour l’amélioration des produits & procédés
- Vous maitrisez l’anglais oral et écrit pour tenir une conversation technique
- Vous savez travailler en équipe et aimez les interactions fréquentes avec les collègues
- Vous savez adopter une démarche scientifique et faire preuve de créativité
- Vous êtes autonome et proactif.ve
- Des connaissances en colorimétrie sont un plus

Vous serez basé.e à Nantes. Télétravail partiel possible.
Des déplacements occasionnels sont à prévoir.

About Eclat Digital
Eclat Digital is a scale-up based in Nantes that develops and markets a light simulator called OceanTM. This software is the first reference for virtual prototyping and image accuracy. After becoming a subsidiary of the international group AGC Glass Europe in 2017, Eclat Digital is experiencing strong growth in its business. As a result of this development, we are looking for a Research Engineer to join our R&D team.
Position:
You will join a young, dynamic team and work on various projects alongside our R&D engineers. Your duties will include the following activities:
- You will participate in the R&D activities defined in the Eclat Digital strategy.
- Manage and supervise research projects for Eclat Digital.
- Participate in the organisation of the work of the R&D team.
- Deliver results, ensuring their quality and presentation.
- You will be in contact with the technical teams (Product, Development & Services) throughout the projects and will be responsible for the coordination between the different parties involved.
- You will play an active role in the training provided by Eclat Digital.
- You will take part in the company's technical communication activities.
Skills & Background required:
- Engineer, Master's degree or PhD in science
- You have proven experience in academic or industrial research in optical simulation, photometry or computer graphics for technical purposes (Physically Based Rendering).
- Basic programming skills in a scientific language (MATLAB, Python or C++)
- Willingness to learn and train in the technical aspects of Ocean software and other similar techniques and/or software to improve products & processes
- Fluency in written and spoken English for technical discussions. The office language is French.
- You are a team player who enjoys frequent interaction with colleagues.
- You can take a scientific approach and be creative
- You are self-motivated and proactive
- Knowledge of colourimetry is an advantage
